NOT AN EASY LIFE FOR THE CHICK. The green monkey are costantly harassing him. They know that very soon he will become a deadly enemy.

MORE AND MORE CONFIDENT ON HIS LONG AND POWERFUL WINGS, HE IS NOW CONTINOUSLY FLYING FROM ONE TREE TO ANOTHER, BUT NEVER TOO FAR FROM THE NEST.
AT LAST THE CHICK IS FLYING!
AFTER EXACTLY THREE MONTHS FROM THE FIRST SIGHT, THE CHICK IS NOW FLYING. A wonderful and exciting moment for me, after so many hours spent at the nest, observing those magnificent birds of prey. He started with short attempt, from one branch to another, always more trusty, then suddenly jumped for a perfet take off!

UPDATE FROM THE NEST
After the heavy rains of the past days, I was finally back at the nest. I was luky to see the mother feeding the almost full size chick. They stayed together untill three pm, then the mother left him alone, as usual.
