The chick is laying down without moving ,while the hot waves are trasforming the zebras in mirages.

A full hot day observing the nest. Early in the morning the female eagle was on the nest, then she moved on top of the nex tree. The chick was in the nest but sleeping and not moving for the whole morning. Only at about 3 pm , when the male eagle came at bursting speed [...]

SINCE APRIL 2009 I’M CLOSELY MONITORING THE NEST OF A PAIR OF MARTIAL EAGLES. THEIR SINGLE EGG FINALLY HATCHED!
